Toronto Tree Services Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 22, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of TorontoTreeServices.ca. By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Purpose of the Website
Toronto Tree Services provides information about tree care and selected property services and gives property owners a way to submit service requests. Where available, a request may be connected with a local service professional who can contact the customer directly.
Toronto Tree Services does not itself perform tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, arborist reports, hedge work, emergency tree work, landscaping, lawn care, yard cleanup, demolition, permit submissions, or other on-site property services.
2. Independent Service Providers
A service professional who contacts you through a request submitted on this website operates independently from Toronto Tree Services. Any assessment, estimate, service agreement, scheduling, work, report, permit-related document, payment, cleanup term, warranty, or service issue is handled directly between you and the professional you choose to hire.
Toronto Tree Services does not employ, supervise, direct, dispatch, or control the professionals who may receive requests. We do not guarantee their qualifications, insurance status, availability, pricing, workmanship, communication, or results.
Before hiring a professional, customers should review the written scope and estimate and request any proof of insurance, qualifications, worker coverage, references, permits, or other documentation they consider appropriate.
3. Estimates, Payments, and Service Agreements
Toronto Tree Services does not set the price of on-site work and does not collect customer payment for contractor services. Estimates, deposits, invoices, extra charges, refunds, cancellations, payment schedules, and payment disputes are handled directly with the service professional.
4. Referral Compensation
Toronto Tree Services may receive compensation from a service provider when a customer request is connected with that provider. This paid referral arrangement does not make Toronto Tree Services the contractor, employer, agent, supervisor, or guarantor of the provider and does not make Toronto Tree Services a party to the customer's service agreement.
5. Information and Photos You Submit
You agree that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide any photos or other material you upload. Do not submit unlawful content, confidential material belonging to someone else, or sensitive personal information that is not needed for the request.
By submitting a request, you authorize Toronto Tree Services to use and share the information and optional photos as reasonably necessary to process the request and connect it with a service professional, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Website Content
Website content is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, arboricultural, construction, municipal, permit, safety, or technical advice for a specific property. Conditions vary by tree, site, municipality, utility, weather, structure, and project.
We work to keep information useful and current, but we do not guarantee that every page is complete, error-free, or current at all times. Customers should verify important permit, bylaw, utility, safety, demolition, tree-protection, and technical requirements with the applicable authority or qualified professional.
7. Safety and Emergency Situations
Do not rely on the website request form as an emergency dispatch service. If there is an immediate threat to people, structures, road access, utilities, or public safety, contact the appropriate emergency service, municipality, utility provider, or other responsible authority. Never approach downed electrical lines, an unstable tree or limb, or an unsafe structure.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful information
- Upload files you do not have the right to provide
- Attempt to interfere with, damage, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems
- Use automated tools to overload forms or website infrastructure
- Copy or republish protected website content except as permitted by law or with permission
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website's original text, graphics, branding, layout, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Toronto Tree Services and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
10. Third-Party Links
The website may link to municipalities, utilities, government resources, manufacturers, professional organizations, or other third-party websites. Those websites are controlled by their respective operators. A link is provided for information or convenience and does not, by itself, constitute an endorsement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Toronto Tree Services is not liable for losses, injuries, property damage, financial disputes, delays, cleanup concerns, report issues, permit issues, or service outcomes arising from services or advice provided by an independent service professional.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
12. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure, and handling of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario, subject to any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the website after an update means you agree to the revised Terms.
